SAUNA Tips & Info

WHAT TO WEAR

To receive the full benefits of the infrared rays, it’s best to enjoy your sauna session naked. But we do understand that this is not always possible.

We suggest opting for swimwear then your not missing out on what your sauna session has to offer.

BREATHWORK ROUTINE

Steady your mind, body and breath with some slow breathing in your next sauna session. Focus on your breathing and don’t let your mind wonder. Once you are in a relaxed state, begin to count your breath in for four seconds, out for four seconds. Continue this for as long as you can during your sauna session and enjoy a state of complete calmness. If you feel your mind starting to wonder, gently bring your focus back to your breath until you find your rhythm in your count again.

LIGHT THERAPY

Our sauna is fitted with Chromotherapy Lights. Each colour is carefully calibrated to promote balance and healing.

White: Mental clarity Magenta/Pink: Emotional healing Blue: Relaxation & peace Light Blue: Creativity & tranquillity Green: Healing & harmony Yellow: Energy & focus Red: Vitality & circulation

Hydration

Pre sauna hydration is much more important than drinking water throughout your session. Make sure to drink plenty of water prior to commencing your sauna session. This will ensure your body is adequately hydrated and able to perspire safely.

Make sure to rehydrate after your sauna session to help reduce heat stress. It is recommended to drink plenty of fluids 2-3 hours post sauna session.

Tempreture

To ensure you receive the full range of health benefits, your Far Infrared Sauna will be set to maximum temperature 75*C.

If the sauna is too hot for you, please open the sauna door instead of adjusting the temperature. This provides fresh, cool air and has the benefits of feeling cooler while the core body temperature remains high.
